HPU Promotes Anderson To Manager Of University Events

HIGH POINT, N.C., Nov. 5, 2009 – Melissa Anderson has been promoted to manager of university events at High Point University. She previously served as coordinator of university events.

"I am genuinely excited about serving such a unique and progressive university in this capacity," Anderson says. "The energy on campus is amazing, and HPU is an outstanding academic institution.  I look forward to continuing to enhance the experience of all HPU students and community friends at events on campus."

Anderson, who was initially hired as the administrative assistant to the vice president for community relations in July 2007, will continue to oversee university and community events, including commencement, Family Weekends, Cultural Enrichment Events and special events for the Office of the President.

Anderson received a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Wake Forest University.
