Scholarships and Other Assistance

High Point University awards financial assistance from many different sources. We participate in all available Federal Programs (Pell Grants, Perkins Loan, Work-Study, etc) as well as numerous programs within the State of North Carolina. (All residents of North Carolina who attend High Point as a full-time student are eligible for the North Carolina Legislative Tuition Grant. This grant is $1850 for the 2009-10 academic year.)

Athletic Scholarships. Scholarships for male athletes are awarded on a competitive basis in baseball, basketball, track, cross country and soccer.

Scholarships for female athletes are awarded on a competitive basis in basketball, cross country, soccer, track and volleyball.

ROTC Scholarships. Scholarships are available for students who wish to pursue Army ROTC or Airforce ROTC through a cooperative agreement with North Carolina A&T State University.

United Methodist Scholarships

High Point University is affiliated with the United Methodist Church.  Current members of a United Methodist Church may wish to pursue scholarship opportunities, such as Dollars for Scholars as well as others.  Most UM scholarship deadlines are May 1, 2010, so you should apply early since funds are limited.
