National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)

The National Pan-Hellenic Council was organized on May 10, 1930 on the campus of Howard University and is a coalition of the nine largest historically African American Greek-letter fraternities and sororities.

NPHC currently represents over 1.5 million members internationally.  It is comprised of the following organizations:
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,  Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Iota Phi Theta Fraternity,  Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity,  Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority,  Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

Four of these nine organizations are represented on the High Point University campus.
