Service Organizations

The students of High Point University log nearly 25,000 hours of community service activities annually. Although most campus organizations have service projects, the following organizations exist primarily to serve.

Alpha Phi Omega
Circle K
The Volunteer Center

Alpha Phi Omega
Alpha Phi Omega, a co-educational national service fraternity, unites college students in service to their campus, their community, and their nation. The pillars of Alpha Phi Omega are leadership, friendship, and service. Because Alpha Phi Omega is a service fraternity, it is open to first semester freshmen. Interested students may join both Alpha Phi Omega and a social fraternity or sorority. For more information, contact the fraternity president Kerry Quinn, quinnk04@highpoint.edu

Circle K
Circle K, the campus expression of the Kiwanis Club, organizes students for purposes of volunteerism and community service. For more information, contact the Office of Students Life.

The Volunteer Center
The Volunteer Center coordinates student volunteerism and community service and maintains a record of service hours performed by enrolled students at High Point University. For information or assistance about volunteerism on campus or for assistance with community service projects, contact The Volunteer Center through the Office of Experiential Learning, Kelly Norton 336-841-9636, Director of Experiential Learning, Slane Center 318.
