Freshman Application Deadlines
If you're thinking about applying to High Point University and you are a high school senior (Class of 2010), the University offers three different application plans.

Early Decision
Application Deadline: NOVEMBER 2nd
Notification Date: NOVEMBER 24th
Early Decision is for freshman applicants who have decided that High Point is their first choice. Early Decision is a binding agreement that a student will enroll at High Point if admitted. Once admitted, students agree to withdraw applications from all colleges and submit a nonrefundable $500 enrollment deposit by January 5th. In order to be considered for Early Decision, each applicant must sign and submit the Early Decision Agreement found on the application for admission.

Early Action
Application Deadline: NOVEMBER 9th
Notification Deadline: DECEMBER 11th
Early Action is for freshman applicants who would like an early answer on their application for admission. Early Action is nonbinding and students may apply to other colleges and universities.

Regular Decision
Application Deadline: MARCH 15th
Notification Deadline: Admission offered on a rolling basis
Regular Decision allows freshman applicants to submit their applications by. Students who apply under the Early Decision or Early Action plans will be given priority consideration in the application and enrollment processes. Applications received under the Regular Decision plan will be evaluated on a rolling basis. Offers of admission will be made as long as there is space available in the freshman class.

*Please note that all deadlines are postmark or electronic submission dates. All supporting documents and the application fee must be postmarked by the stated deadlines.


Freshman Application Requirements

1.
Complete and submit the online application for admission including the required personal statement. A paper application is not available. All applications must be submitted online.  

2. Submit the nonrefundable $40 application fee. You will be required to use a credit card in order to pay the $40 application fee. If you plan to use a fee waiver, then you should print a copy of your online application and mail it with your fee waiver form. High Point University participates in the College Board and ACT fee waiver programs. Contact your guidance counselor for more information.

3. Ask your guidance or college counselor to send your official high school transcripts to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

4. Ask your guidance or college counselor to submit the Counselor Report Form. This form can be found on the online application for admission.

5. Request that the results of either the SAT or the ACT be sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at High Point University. The SAT school code for High Point University is 5293. The ACT code for High Point University is 3108.
