The Academic Services Center provides tutors, writing fellows, and lab assistants for student athletes completing study hall hours. Study hall criteria are established by the athletic academic advisor in conjunction with coaching staff and administration. Student athletes are encouraged to use the time to review coursework, prepare for upcoming assignments and exams, and meet with tutors.

Student athlete study hall is located on the fourth floor of Smith Library. All student athletes complete their hours in student athlete study hall.

Signing in to Study Hall. To earn study hall hours, students should go to the Student Athlete Study Hall computer terminal, located on the Smith Library's fourth floor. Enter the HPU ID number followed by 00. Click enter. The first time students sign in each semester, they will complete a personal information page. They are now signed in to study hall and can begin work.

Signing out of Study Hall. To sign out of study hall, students should return to the study hall computer. Students scan their HPU ID number to sign in/out of study hall. Students who do not sign out of study hall will not be given credit for the time they have completed.
