Workshops are offered to enhance students' academic and life experiences. Topics to be presented include the APA citation system, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, how to overcome math anxiety, how to use the TI-89 Calculator, writing and studying in the sciences, and many others.

Self-Guided Programs

Self-guided videos can be checked out and viewed in the Academic Services Center and/or Media Services lab. Some videos supplement course material, while others address personal health, time management, and other educational areas.

Praxis-I preparation and sample texts are available using ASC computers. Students must make an appointment to schedule a Praxis preparation session by calling (336)841-9037 or emailing Craig Curty.
