Freshmen receive two items that support their entry into the university (also referred to as "matriculating"):
1. Matriculation Instructions: this provides basic student information, student clearances, and placement summary or test needed to be completed.
2. Placement & Advising Instructions: this provides the results of placement tests and course that are required to be taken by the student. It is to be used by the advisor is assisting the student in making course selections and planning the first semester.
